The NYFORS AutoCleaver S2 is a modified version of the standard AutoCleaver. The addition of a specially controlled clamping system allows for cleaving of "air clad" optical fibers. Fibers from 125um to 1000um can be accurately cleaved with typical end angles of <0.5°. A built-in microprocessor controls all parameters and settings such as clamping, tension, and the exact position and speed of the diamond blade.
