Notice Regarding Procurement and Repair of Fujikura Splicing Equipment


If your equipment requires service, please use one of the options below to initiate the repair process:

Online: Complete the Product Service Request Form, Product Service Request Form

By Phone: Call 1-800-235-3423, option 3, and provide the following information:

  • Company name, contact name and phone number
  • Ship-to & bill-to address
  • Model and serial number of the item in need of repair
  • A brief description of the problem you are experiencing

After receiving your information, AFL will issue a Service Request Number for tracking your splicer through the process. When shipping your splicer to our service center, please include the Service Request Number on the package label to properly expedite the order receipt and processing.

Need an estimate? If you require a repair estimate prior to actual repair, please inform us when requesting the Service Request number. Otherwise, we will proceed with the repair and contact you upon completion to obtain credit card or purchase order information prior to return shipment.

Before shipping your splicer:

  • All equipment should be properly packaged for shipment to prevent damage during the shipping process.
  • The fusion splicer must be shipped in the yellow transit case to maintain any warranty status that might apply.
  • We recommend packaging the yellow transit case inside a cardboard box as additional protection.

After Receiving the product, our service team will inspect document contents, and begin the repair process on all AFL/Fujikura items.
